Full Moon-The Revelation

The moon is full.
The beavers retreat to their lodges.
I gather my truths like twigs—
building shelter for the winter within.

Sheltering With-In

This is the season of preparation, of emotional preservation.
The Beaver Moon rises in Taurus, whispering:
What do you need to feel safe?
What must be released to make room for rest?

🌕 The Light That Reveals: A Beaver Moon Reflection
I am not one. I am the many I’ve met within.
Tonight, they gather in the lodge.
The Beaver Moon rises in Taurus, full and grounding. It is the moon of shelter-building, of emotional preparation, of gathering what we need before the freeze. The beavers retreat to their lodges, and I retreat to mine—the inner one, woven from memory, metaphor, and the truths I’ve gathered like twigs. This moon asks:
What do you need to feel safe?
What must be released to make room for rest? I sit with the Builder archetype tonight. She is quiet, deliberate. She does not rush. She knows that winter is not a punishment—it is a rhythm. She teaches me to fortify my boundaries, to line my lodge with softness, to store only what nourishes.
The child, the shadow, the flame.
The witness, the storm.
This space holds them all.
Welcome to the remembering.
I offer this reflection as a shelter. You may enter, or you may pass. You may linger in the warmth, or gather your own twigs and build elsewhere. All is welcome.

What are you gathering for your wintering?
What truths have surfaced in this light?
You’re welcome to reflect, respond, or simply rest here.

🌕 Beaver Moon Ritual: Building Inner Shelter 🕯️ Purpose To create a sense of emotional safety and prepare your inner lodge for wintering.
🌿 Materials (Optional but Supportive)
  • A candle or small light source
  • A bowl of water or warm tea
  • A pen and paper
  • A soft textile (scarf, blanket, shawl)

🌙 Steps
  1. Create a Nest
Find a quiet space. Wrap yourself in something soft. Light your candle or turn on a gentle light. Let this be your lodge.
  2. Sip & Settle
Hold your tea or water. Sip slowly. With each sip, imagine warmth entering your body—preparing you for rest, for truth, for winter.
  3. Write Your Shelter List
    On your paper, write:
    • What truths do I want to keep close this season?
    • What do I need to feel emotionally safe?
    • What am I ready to release to make space for rest?
Let your answers be fragments, images, or single words. No pressure to explain.
  4. Seal with Stillness
Read your list aloud or silently. Then fold it and place it beneath your candle, cup, or textile. Let it rest there for the night.
  5. Close with Breath
Take three deep breaths. On each exhale, whisper:
I build my shelter. I honor my rhythm. I welcome the wintering.
