Hi, I’m Dejah — Educator, movement guide, body-wisdom guide, and community builder with over 20 years of experience in education. My work is deeply rooted in nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and intentional movement practices designed to cultivate resilience and balance.

As a 400-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with a Trauma-Aware Certification, I integrate evidence-based approaches to support embodied learning, healing, and self-discovery. I have the added edge of being an Early Childhood Educator for over 20 years

With over a decade of experience in wellness and community-building, I specialize in guiding individuals toward deeper self-awareness and embodied healing. My work integrates somatic practices, yoga, and intuitive movement to foster resilience and connection. I believe that healing is a journey, and I am honored to walk alongside those seeking transformation.

Whether you’re looking to deepen your practice, connect with a supportive community, or integrate restorative methods into your work, you’re in the right place. Welcome—I’m grateful you’re here.

I have lived many lives...

"I know what it feels like to be disconnected from your body—to struggle with self-image, past wounds, and the uncertainty of healing. My own journey through addiction and trauma led me to somatic practices, where I found a profound sense of trust and wisdom within myself. Now, I dedicate my work to helping others rediscover that same inner knowing, offering gentle, intuitive movement practices that honor the body’s wisdom." - Dejah T. Roman

and my body has been with me through it all.

Raging fires bellowed in the wake of each step I took.

Although I was obviously suffering, those who sought to help, were often harmed the most.

If not the fire, then the rushing wind in my ears as I ran...or the muffled sounds of voices unheard and unintelligible as I hid in the darkest depths of my aching despair. I was so tired.

Fight: Rage kept me safe...she was sloppy and unharnessed, but she got the job done.

Flight: Toss it all in a basket, get in the car...run. I'll break up with him first. To hell with it all!

Fawn: "Yes sir...no, sir. How can I be of service." Shame and Sorrow took root here.

Freeze: While this kept me alive, it left a void of darkness behind.
